On Saturday Madi and Dan headed out to see their cousin ride in a rodeo.  (Sorry folks, no pictures).  Dan forgot to bring a camera. 

But......

I have really cute photos of a certain two year old that I got to hang out with since we couldn't go for that TWO HOUR DRIVE up north.  

So here you go.  My little buddy. Warning: you are about to witness some serious cuteness. You might want to think of having some babies, or more, if you keep staring at them. Just saying.

Scarlet Fever Anyone?

This weekend, I spent my time cuddling with this little guy:

We had to take him to Urgent Care on Friday because he wasn't eating and was very lethargic. Which by the way is very unlike my son.

Seriously, the child is like a human hurricane tearing through my house every day.

So to see him be so, well, clingy and sad was very hard for this momma to see.

Turns out he had scarlet fever and Pharyngitis (which is basically a fancy term for a throat infection). So they gave him antibiotics.

And we spent the entire weekend cuddling.

Today  he was (practically) back to normal and now Madi and I are not feeling well.

Ahhhh life sure is fun huh?  

Let the craziness begin!

Happy Birthday Sean!

Two years ago, while practically all of Dan's family were on vacation and I told them that Sean would NOT be born on the holiday, which was his due date.....

I gave birth to the most adorable, active, mischievious little red head. His name is Sean and he is two today.

Happy birthday to my big boy! We love you so much!

And Happy 4th of July!

2 Years Ago Today

I began feeling the contractions that would forever change my life.

A long drive to the hospital, then being sent home only to return the next morning, the 4th of July.....and I fell in love with the most perfect little being.

Because This Boy Makes Me Laugh.

So funny. He climped up on that rock all by himself, looked at me and busted out this smile.

Shopping For Boys

When I had Madi, it was pretty easy for me to pick out cute, adorable and girly outfits for her.

I mean, the stores are crammed with gorgeous outfits for little girls.

For Sean, it was and still is a little harder.  

I am all about the layers.  

I got a coupon in my inbox today from The Children's Place and I decided to use it to update Sean's wardrobe.  I have been cramming his poor little body into some 12 month tops.  

He is 20 months old. *ahem*

I couldn't resist some of these outfits! Darling for little boys!

Ummm...ADORABLE!!!!

I have no idea.

Meeting Their Hero's

A couple of weeks ago Dan and I took Madi and Sean to Disneyland.

I was really excited for Sean to meet Mickey Mouse.  He says Mickey about 7979236934567890 times a day.  No really.

So we went to Toon Town, walked happily together to Mickey's "House" and Mickey was right there. 

And Sean couldn't take his eyes off of him.  It was so precious.

And Madi got to meet Aladdin and Jasmine.

It was a great day at Disneyland.

Sweetness

Today, I finally was able to really get out of the house and walk around. The swelling in my food had gone down and I was feeling less miserable from my rash.

Ahhh, how I just love allergic reactions. Not.

Today my family and I walked around the mall. We didn't buy anything, but just enjoyed each other's company.

My favorite moment came when a sweet little guy who is normally running at one hundred miles per hour fell asleep in my arms.

My heart burst into a billion confetti pieces as I cradled and rocked him. He hasn't let me rock him to sleep since he was about eight months old.

How I miss those precious baby stages. Thankful I got to relive a small piece of it.

It almost makes me want to have another baby.

Almost.

It's About My Family (Photo Heavy)

A couple of weeks ago, my SIL Carrie rounded the entire Harper clan together to capture us in photo.  We have expanded over the years with little ones and she noticed that the last family photo we had together was for our (Dan and Tiff) wedding!  

That was six years ago.  So much has changed since then.

This is just a small portion of my family, Dan's side.  As you can see, there are quite a few of us.

The best part about all of these photos?  They were a gift for Mom and Dad H.  Two large prints of their grandkids and of their boys. And then a 16 x 20 canvas that will be arriving soon.

Mom was in tears.  *smile*
